Deepak Jha, Date of Birth: 03.07.1994, Date of joining us: 27.05.2004

Deepak was rescued from a local eatery by one of the social workers; where he had landed up after his parents' death. At Udayan Care, he has been admitted in Roseland Public School and is now studying in class VII. He is an intelligent child, but due to his hyperactive nature is unable to utilize his energy to the fullest. He is very talkative and needs constant attention and encouragement to nurture his interest in studies.

Jagpal, Date of Birth: 09.03.1991, Date of joining us: 28.05.2004

Jagpal is an orphan child, who after being under the supervision of his elder brother for sometime, was given to us due to financial problems. He is an intelligent child with a lot of potential to learn and is very creative and talented in arts. He understands his responsibilities, however, needs some modifications in his behaviour due to his rebellious teenage nature. He is now studying in class VI in Roseland Public School.

Mrityunjay, Date of Birth: 28.05.93, Date of joining us: 01.09.2004

Mrityunjay's parents are the caregivers for Udayan Ghar V and hence he is also looked after by us. Being a child, sometimes he wants undivided attention from his parents, which he rarely gets. He needs to be stronger emotionally as well as improve in his studies. He is studying in class VII in Roseland Public School. He is very good with the younger children and looks after them like an elder brother.

Viren (Bittoo) is a happy child who makes others laugh. He was studying in class IV in Roseland Public School. Now he has got admission in Sagar school, Tijara, Rajasthan in the same class. He is always ready to learn and has great interest in learning to speak English. His behavior though is a matter of concern and steps are being to taken to transform his attitude.

Jai Kumar has been taken in our care in January 2005. He is studying in class III in Roseland Public School. His performance has improved academically. He loves helping with household and outdoor chores. However, sometimes his behaviour becomes inconsistent due to his mood swings and is happy when left to himself.

Prakash, Date of Birth: 10.05.1995, Date of joining us: 12.01.2005

Prakash is a well behaved child and has been promoted to class VII in Roseland Public School. Though at times his bad temper, results in rage and disrespect, he has a great potential which needs to be developed.

Deepak, Date of Birth: 10.06.1995, Date of joining us: 12.01.2005

A reserved and a shy child, who prefers to keep things to himself, Deepak joined Udayan Care for long term rehabilitation. He has been promoted to class V in Roseland Public School and has performed moderately well. He is a boy with a great sense of responsibility, but at the same time needs to develop his social skills.

 Tarsem Singh (Bunty), Date of Birth: 09.08.1991, Date of joining us: 12.01.2005

Tarsem Singh has been taken in our care in January 2005. He has started taking interest in studies, and helps in kitchen duties. He is well behaved but needs to focus on his studies. He had taken little time to adjust with us, but now is very happy.

Rahul, Date of Birth: 05.05.1998, Date of joining us: 02.05.2005

Rahul is a lost child who has been in our care since past 2 years. Since his admission into school last year, he has made dramatic improvements in his studies, particularly in English. Now studying in class IV at Roseland Public School, he continues to progress encouragingly. He is generally a very happy, active and caring child, always eager to help and please others.

Sonu Junior , Date of Birth: 12.02.99, Date of joining us: 01.08.2005

Sonu has been taken in our care in August 2005. He is an affectionate child and loves seeking attention. He has shown improvement in his studies and has been promoted to UKG in Roseland Public School. He is gradually developing interest in studies and articulates well.

Rohit, Date of Birth: 05.08.1997 Date of joining us: 02.05.2005

Rohit joined Udayan Care a year ago and has recently been given admission into class III at Roseland Public School. Creating and maintaining his study focus, is a constant challenge as his interest and abilities are limited. Generally an introvert child, who shies away from any confrontation, he is happiest when playing sport and left to himself.

Santosh, Date of Birth: 11.12.1996, Date of joining us: 02.05.2005

Santosh is a lost child who still remembers his family but is committed to furthering his own future and getting an education. He joined Udayan Care over a year ago and continues to improve consistently in his studies, now in class IV. Not only developing into an excellent student, as an all rounder, Santosh is also very talented in any sport he participates in, as well as, is a creative artist.

Nazir, Date of Birth: 10.07.1995, Date of joining us: 03.05.2005

Nazir has spent much of his life in care and has a much stronger learning ability than he portrays. However, is studying effectively in class V at Roseland Public School. Nazir is very shy and depicts certain vagueness. He loves to laugh and acts like a clown, but where sports and arts are concerned his abilities are clearly defined.

Arun, Date of Birth: 12.12.2000, Date of joining us: 12.09.2005

Arun joined Udayan Care along with his brother and sister. He initially had no interest in studies but has progressed into a very good student in class I at Roseland Public School with a penchant for learning. A very happy and carefree child with an ability to laugh at anything, he is an attention seeker; who also loves to fight, especially with other smaller kids.

Badal, Date of Birth: 12.02.2000, Date of joining us: 1.08.2005

Badal came to us along with his sisters in August 2005 as his grandmother could no longer look after them. Being so young and orphan, he was immediately placed with us for his long-term rehabilitation. He is now in class I in Roseland Public School. He is a very happy boy with a constant smile, willing to join in any activity regardless of the age group.

Saddam, Date of Birth: 11.12.1996, Date of joining us: 01.08.2005

Saddam got separated from his uncle, and was sent to us. He has appeared for class III from Open School. He has been home tutored and has shown huge improvement academically. Now he is studying in class IV at Roseland Public School.

Sonu, Date of Birth: 08.09.1995, Date of joining us: 02.05.2005

Sonu is a dream child, who has to be told to stop studying rather than to study! He joined Udayan Care a year ago and was admitted into school soon after. Now in class VI, he dreams of being a Scientist and consistently performs to the best of his ability. His vocal skills often make communication challenging, but as a persistent child he will make himself heard. Such a gentle and kind hearted boy, he is constantly caring for others.

Mukesh, Date of Birth: 09.03.1996, Date of joining us: 19.09.2005

Mukesh is the older brother of Arun and still at the stage of preferring work over studies. His studying abilities and aspirations are very poor but we have succeeded in getting him admitted in Roseland Public School in class 1. As a family member, he is always helpful and looking out for others.
