We have literally built Jagshanti Udayan Care 'brick-by-brick' by running a Fund Raising programme by the same name; where we solicited donations of Rs. 650 towards the expenses of building one square foot of Jagshanti Udayan Care. Hundreds of friends and supporters made donations in multiples of Rs. 650 and we raised a significant amount. Thanks to all those who gave with their hearts.

Mental Health Programme

Home of Hope has been supporting this programme, at a time when there were no takers for as intangible an issue as superior mental health! They have been supporting the programme for 5 continuous years. We are very thankful to them for this support.

Children's Holidays and Outings

We have been blessed that our children have been able to go out almost every
summer holidays. The transport is organized by us and the hotel stay courtesy
all the generous hotel owners, who are listed below and who are motivated by the
dedication of our member, Vipin Chawla to give our children a swell time. In 2002,
children had a nice summer retreat at Chail, courtesy, Hotel Monal. In 2003, children went to Mussoorie, courtesy Hotel Green Castle, and to Hardwar, courtesy Sagar Hotel; In 2004, it was Manali, courtesy Sagar Group again. In December, Anubhav Nath a volunteer took all the children of all the 5 Homes, for a picnic lunch at his sprawling showroom of handicrafts at Qutab Road. He took children on a round of their most magnificent collection of vintage cars as well showed them handicrafts. In June 2005, we went for a beautiful trip to Udhampur, Patni Top, Mansar Lake and
Vaishno Devi. We are grateful to Major General Daljeet Singh Nehra and Mrs.
Bhawna Nehra,
our mentor mother, for helping us organise the whole trip.While
children had a nice stay at the barracks, their local travel and food bills were
supported by a lot of local people there. We are very grateful to IPAN and PVR
Saket
and Mr Sahni of Odeon cinema for sponsoring movie shows in the theatre for our children. Also many volunteers and friends like Mr Jagdish Agarwal of Bengali Sweets, Persis, Gurpeet, Maithili Nath and Ankur Ladies Club, members of The Inner Wheel Club of India who take our children out on picnics and treats.

CREATE: Centre for Rehabilitation, Education & Thought Enrichment

Child Guidance Centre:
Wings of Support generously donated more than Rs. 6, 84,889/-. This helped us with the construction and equipment of CGC at Greater NOIDA.

Stitching & Tailoring Centre:
LG Electronics Ltd. gifted us the stitching machines and accessories to make help set up this center.

Computer Centre:
America India Foundation has donated us 10 computers, accessories and software worth USD 10,000 to facilitate the establishment of the Computer Education Centre at Greater NOIDA. This donation has been through Home of Hope.
Egyptian Ambassador's wife, Madam Aalia Fahmy and her group donated computer tables for this centre.

Beauty Therapy Center:
Ankur Society has sponsored Rs 4.80 lakhs to enable us fulfill our dreams of starting this center and take this project forward and give our children as well women from neighbouring communities a professional opening.
