A CHANCE TO TRAVEL TO NEW HEIGHTS Congratulations to Udayan Ghar children Sonal and Manjeet for being selected as two of ten students to travel to Himachel Pradesh for 10 days as part of Earthwatch Institute’s Teen Expedition Programme -- free of cost! Three students from UK and seven from India participated in an experiential learning of real science, where children engaged hands-on with environmental and conservation issues, conducting field research and interacting with local communities to learn from indigenous cultures. This expedition was designed to deepen the knowledge of students interested environmental concerns and aid youth in promoting sustainable environment. This was an incredible opportunity our kids could never have dreamed of having and we thank Earthwatch for recognizing our children’s passion for the environment and empowering it towards becoming tomorrow’s leaders!

GOING FOR THE GOLD!
This year’s Summer Olympics was a historic year for female athletes in India. However we too have our own super women! Congrats to Aurangabad Udayan Shalinis Kalyani and Trupti for both winning gold medals in their karate competition!

PROUD OF OUR PRAGNYAS! Our Pragnya Fellowship, which gives flexible post-graduate loans to high-achieiving students in need, was just started last year and already two of our four fellows have been placed! Venkatesh and Manisha received offers to become a System Engineer (A+) and a Software Enigneer (A). In addition, four more fellows have been selected this year! Congrats all!
