We have a vision to expand the program geographically across India

Delhi Chapter: It was
launched in 2002 in Delhi with Batch 1. Since then every year
we take in a new batch of needy but talented girls; the number
of new entrants depends on the donors who are willing to commit
to their full education; which could extend from 3-6 years.
With Mr. Vikram Dutt as our advisor and Mr. S. L. Jain as the
convenor, the program found its fruition, individuality and
uniqueness amongst a plethora of other scholarship programs
and soon expanded to other cities too.
It started with a bang with a donor
who believes in the philosophy of not letting even the left hand
know what the right hand is donating; it soon expanded to include
many more donors, some individuals and some institutional. Connect
for Change (www.connectforchange.org) through its donor Pakhar
Foundation really helped us spread our wings further. Today, corporates
like SAIL(www.sail.co.in) and GSK
(www.gsk.com) through BCF
(www.bcfindia.org);
corporate foundations like Bharti Foundation (www.bhartifoundation.org,) (Bharti Udayan Shalini Fellowship Program);
private foundations and Trusts like Gobind Deo Ji Trust, Education Trust,
USA, FAEE, USA and ASHA Madison
(www.ashanet.org/projects/project-view.php?p=866)
USA, besides a host of individuals are supporting us in the Delhi chapter. We have had 6 batches
so far and 580 girls, studying various streams; out of which 114 have finished
their studies and 416 are still with us. Under this programme girls are doing
courses like BA/ BSc /B.Com /BCA /M.A /MSc /Medicine/Engineering and Chartered
