VOL.9, NO.4, JULY-AUGUST 2015

Walt Disney once said that if you can dream it, then you can do it. Udayan Care's young minds have always dreamed big, their aspirations overcoming all obstacles and their determination seeing them through to the finish line in all walks of life. Theirs are the winning dreams, opening the doors of prestigious schools, colleges, and organisations or raking in Golds, Silvers, and Bronzes at Special Olympics and state championships. The positive outlook of our teachers and trainers has drawn over 434 new students to enrol at the Udayan Care IT and SDC centers. And this year, we're enabling more young women to dream big with the USF programme, which saw over 2900 applications for the NAT Exam!

Three Cheers for Our Winners!

It was an atmosphere of celebration at Udayan Ghars across India as our children beat tough competition to emerge winners at various sports meets. Some of them are even winners at life, with 5 of our children winning scholarships to study at prestigious schools.

Changing Society from the Grassroot Level

Giving back to society comes with its own joys, and our interns Kaamini Jha and Siddharth Parashar helped us in our endeavour. They were pivotal in our need assessment survey across two communities in North Delhi, to address certain areas of social concern. The collected data has been analysed and will soon be shared with authorities who can make the change a reality.
