Mentor Mother- Udayan
Ghar I & V
Kiran is a PhD in Literature from the prestigious Indian
Institute of Technology, New Delhi. She has been a breakfast
show presenter on National Television, a community newspaper
publisher and editor and has taught English at the undergraduate
level at a Delhi University college. She has interest
in dance, art and theatre. She wears two hats in the organisation,
that of Managing trustee and Mentor Mother. |

Ms.Iffat Faridi |

Mother- Udayan Ghar I
Highly qualified, having done her MA (Econ.), M. ED
& M. Phil (Econ.), PHD (Spl. Education), Iffat taught
Economics in Jamia Milia Islamia University, Aligarh Muslim
Univerity and Delhi University. She also worked for 10
years in SCERT. She began as a volunteer at the Sant Nagar
home and is now a Mentor Mother at the home. |

Ms.Isabel Sahni |

Mother- Udayan Ghar I
Having grown up in the countryside in England, Isabel
was exposed to the concept of a large family virtually
all her growing-up years. She taught in Sunday School
at her local church and even started a magazine associated
with her sons' riding club. Marriage brought her to India
and her association with Udayan Care has strengthened
over time, from a volunteer to a Mentor Mother. |

A BA, LLB, Madhu Gupta has never practiced law but has
run a successful business for over 15 years. Her desire
to give back to the society that gave her so much bore
fruit in her association with Udayan Care, when she set
up Mayur Vihar Home, although she still remains involved
in the management of her business. |

Ghar II
Meera Sawhny majored in History from the prestigious Lady
Shri Ram College. Later, she did a full time course in
Public Relations and Advertising. She did a stint with
the internationally well known ad firm Ogilvy & Mather
and then graduated to running her own travel agency. |

Mentor Father – Udayan Ghar II
Dr. D.K Sharma is an M.B.B.S, M.D (Skin & V.D) and a consultant
Dermatovenerelogist. He completed his studies from Banaras Hindu
University, Varanasi. After completing his studies, he was Asstt.
Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences He is
a practicing doctor, runs his own clinic and has been associated
with Kailash Hospital since last 15 years, as a consultant. Besides,
being a consultant for NTPC also. |

Ms.Teji Anand |

Mentor
Mother- Udayan Ghar III
Teji Anand completed her BEd from Bhopal and her husband's
career took her to Indore where she began her teaching
career. She then moved to Delhi and headed both the Middle
and Junior and Middle School of GHPS. From 1979 to 1995
she was Principal of Guru Nanak High School, from where
she retired only to a more hectic life, that of a Mentor
Mother. |

Ghar III
A graduate in English Literature from Miranda House, Usha
Partap Singh was an army wife for 25 years before starting
her own export business with her husband. She ran it successfully
for 17 years after which she also ran a travel agency
for more than 9 years. Now as Mentor Mother she successfully
runs the Mehrauli Home.

Having completed her BA from Delhi's prestigious Miranda
House, Brinda Syali rounded off her education with a BEd
from Jammu University. She began her teaching career with
Modern School Delhi and went on to teach at Guru Nanak
School for eight years. As Mentor Mother she is grooming
the girls from success to success. |

Mentor Mother- Udayan
Ghar III
A Masters in English Literature from Patna University,
Dolly Anand is a voracious reader and an active participant
in a local book club. She has been involved with the National
Association for the Blind and records curriculum cassettes
for the blind students of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
As a Mentor Mother, she has broken all records in winning
over her wards. |

Mother- Udayan Ghar III
A Literature graduate from St Stephen's College, Aneesha
started her career in Marketing with the India Today group.
Post her MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management
in Pune, she worked for the Discovery Channel before joining
Udayan Care. She began as a volunteer at the Mehrauli
home and is now a part of the board of Udayan Care as
well as a Mentor Mother at the Mehrauli home. |

Mother-Udayan Ghar IV
Bhavna Nehra, wife of a General, she has done M.A. in
Psychology. Being very athletic since her college days,
she stands to be a proud role model for the children of
Udayan Ghars.

Mother-Jagshanti Udayan Ghar V
A product of the prestigious Welhams School in Dehradun,
Puja Khullar completed her higher education in Journalism.
Her family's involvement with the Sat Krishna Trust led
to her interest in Udayan Care and she is now completely
involved in all aspects of the lives of the boys at the
Gurgaon home. |

A B.SC in Home Science and a postgraduate in Dietetics
and Nutrition, Arti Kapur is actively involved in the
activities of the boys at the Gurgaon home.

Mother-Yakov's Light Udayan Ghar VI
Dr. (Capt) Asha Sud is wife of Major Sud, who did her Bachelor
in Dental Surgery from Punjab Dental College, Amristsar, Punjab
University in 1964. Thereafter, she served in the army for 10
years, as a dental surgeon. After her retirement, she has been
practicing dental surgeon at Noida.

Father-Yakov's Light Udayan Ghar VI
Maj. Sud did his Post Graduate in Military Science from Willington,
Tamil Nadu in 1972, while he was serving in the Indian Army. He served
for Indian Army from 1952 top 1981, when he took pre mature retirement
as a Major. After his retirement he pursued 1 year diploma in Business
Management from Sardar Patel College, Delhi University and thereafter,
he has been working in the capacity of General Manager, in different
Export Companies for last 25 years, before being a member of Udayan Care.
Now, he is actively involved in the activities of the boys at the
Yaakov’s Light Udayan Ghar for boys at Noida.
