
M.A. in Sociology and Social Work, is having over 19 years of experience in the Development Sector. Earlier worked with Association for Development and Action Aid on its CHETNA project for combating abuse among the street and working children.
His journey with Udayan Care began in the year 2005. He is currently, heading the one of the largest programme of the Udayan Care, called Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) programme for girl education and women empowerment. He has been instrumental in implementing many new ideas to make this program more visible and impactful. He leads a large team of staff pan India and interacting with over 1,200 volunteers associated with the USF programme as mentors, mentor didis and local committee members.
He has a sound understanding of developing, managing and monitoring programme implementation systems, financial and operational management. He is popularly known as ‘Faheem Bhaiya’ among the Shalinis – the programme beneficiaries.
