Udayan Care collaborated with U&I, a volunteer driven charity committed to partnering with social organizations and working in the spheres of education, child and women welfare. The collaboration aims to provide the children at Udayan Ghars an atmosphere of learning and acquiring skills, where U&I pairs one child with one volunteer and majorly focuses on English reading and writing through a pre-set curriculum. The course will be able to inspire the children and allow them to reach their potential.
Udayan Care has been extremely fortunate to have a volunteer like Ms. Nadia Stuewer. She supported Udayan Care in every possible way ranging from working in the office, to volunteering at the Udayan Ghars, to connecting us with different corporates for donations.
As she is a part of the Canassist Society, she connected our Skill Development centre with the mini-mela that was held in the Canadian Embassy where we got an opportunity to showcase the products that are made at our Skill Development Centre. The footfall of the mela was good, hence making it a huge success.
We cannot thank Nadia enough for always finding opportunities for us and supporting us in creating an impact.
