Rajasthan CSR Award 2018

Omprakash, our partner organization provides us a platform we use to recruit volunteers and interns, as well as raise funds. It is a web-based agency, bound by a common vision and shares a commitment of social transformation.

All Omprakash partners are committed to a fiscal sponsorship, wherein, if found impactful they can apply for grants, gifts, and sponsorships. On having hosted more than 3 interns, we were eligible to apply for funds for Edge Partner Grant, following which we were awarded the ‘Edge Partner Grant of $200 USD’ by Omprakash for successfully hosting International Volunteers.

Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2017

In the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, Udayan Care came 3rd as the highest fundraiser. Adding another feather to our cap, Mr. Deepak Sharma, (Mentor father, Jagshanti Udayanghar Greater Noida) stood 2nd highest fundraiser in the ICARE Category.

Graduation Ceremony – North Delhi IT Center

In July 2017, Social Venture Partners (SVP) supported the establishment of a Computer Learning Centre in Budh Vihar, North Delhi. The dedication of the Udayan care staff and SVP members resulted in  successful training of the 1st batch of Tally, DIT and Graphic & Print Design. At the end of the course, many of the students were immediately recruited.

In order to celebrate this victory, a “Graduation ceremony” was organized where, Mr. Harsh Lohit(SVP) and Mr. Arun Talwar, CEO Udayan Care with their kind words motivated and rekindled passion among students to groom themselves for a bright future.

7th ANNUAL ALUMNAE MEET – North Delhi Chapter

The 7th Alumnae Meet was organized on the 28th January 2018. Around 45 Alumnae Shalinis and 15 Senior Mentors attended the meet.

The aim of the meet was to connect and strengthen the bond with USF Alumane. Various activities and games were organized by the alumnae themselves  that engaged the elder Shalini’s with the younger ones bringing back memories of the good old times. This exercise was carried out to ignite a sense of the role that the elder Shalini’s could play in mentoring the new enrollees.
