Life at Udayan Care is not just about nourishing young minds. It's about giving them the right opportunities to find their feet and help their potential take wings. We encourage participation in academic, athletic and extracurricular activities because it is an effective means for children to grow into holistic individuals. In the process, though, they reap the benefits of their hard work with rewards, medals and accolades.

Budding artists only need a canvas to showcase their talent, and our young artists at Udayan Ghars found their canvases at various events. The HUDCO Painting Event organised on the theme 'Safety at Public Places' saw enthusiastic participation from our little Picassos, Monets and Leonardo Da Vincis. Suraj from the Gurgaon Boys Home realised his artistic dreams with two outstanding achievements - 1st place for dressing up models in designer 'newspaperwear' for the Handloom Utsav at Lady Irwin College and a Gold Medal in the 15th International World Art Exhibition. Read about his feats in the magazine India Today. |

Udayan Shalini Fellowship has always been a means for young women to realise their potential. In an effort to make this dream a reality for more women, our newest and 10th chapter of USF was inaugurated at Hyderabad. Armed with a grant from Microsoft - our long-term partner - we inducted 28 Shalinis into the programme at the MSIDC premises. Padma Shri, Dr. Ananda Shankar Jain administered the oath of dignified womanhood, welcoming the women to a life where sky is the limit! |
