Children’s Day Celebration
Childhood is the best blend of learning and fun. Our Udayan Care family always ensures the right balance between them. Our team organized Children’s Day celebrations across all 17 homes with the right dose of both with activities that included painting and games like kho kho and lemon n spoon races.
Christmas Cheer at Udayan Ghar
December brought Christmas delight and lots of merry-making for the children across Udayan Ghars (Homes). Various corporates and our donors joined us in the Christmas celebrations, which added to the joy of the festival. Genpact, Barclays Bank, Ongraph Technologies, Showtime Events, Multiplier, Paint Our World and Krishumi Pvt Ltd visited our children to multiply the joy of the festival. They shared Christmas goodies with the children and spent time playing games that left everyone smiling.
Master Chef Cookery Competition: Swad Wahi par Pyaz Nahi
When the entire nation is hit hard by the price hike of the formerly humble onion, the Udayan Ghars created a Master Chef Cookery Competition across our various homes. Caregivers were challenged to present their best culinary skills sans onions! They came up with some innovative and sumptuous dishes which were packed with nutrition and taste. Home 16, home 17, and Home 13 grabbed the first three prizes of the contest and were awarded the prestigious Chefs Hat!
