Sowing the Seeds of Employability

This year, we devised strong strategies to enable greater enrollments across Udayan Care SDCs and IT Centres, with plans to reward centres with most registrations. The strategy worked so well that we enrolled 434 students across 7 centres in the first quarter alone! Each winning centre received a trophy and an appreciation certificate from Dr. Kiran Modi. Now that's what we call a win-win situation.

Project SHEVA Makes Waves across India

How does one fight verbal abuse? For our Shalinis, the answer was in Project SHEVA - Shalinis Against Verbal Abuse, a cause our brave and courageous Shalinis campaigned for. The inheritance of abuse is normalised in our everyday speech and has deeply penetrated gender connotations. Our Shalinis were urged to mobilise against such acts and speak up when they witnessed or experienced it.
Project SHEVA is spreading fast across the Udayan Care family. The Shalinis are mediums through which the message is spreading - to their schools, colleges, workplaces, and families - so that the problem is nipped in the bud and eradicated from society eventually.

Making Way for Women of the Future

We're overwhelmed by the number of responses each year for the USF Programme. This year alone, we got 2925 applications for our NAT Exam from across India! These encouraging numbers strengthen our belief that the USF programme's reach is spreading far and wide.
The Shalinis will be shortlisted based on the parameters of needs, ambitions, and talents. Selections are underway - only 569 will make it into the programme and inducted into the family of confident, courageous women in October-November.
