Sitam now a Delhi boy originally from Uttarakhand, is a sensitive and thoughtful person and dreams to make it big despite all the challenges and financial limitations. His inclination towards art and design got him to the UCIT center at Vinod Nagar for a graphic and print design course. After having done the course at one of the commercial computer centers for a huge sum of 45000 and having been taught nothing he was twice as determined to learn the skill of graphic design.

His dedication, hardwork and perseverance during the course and his internship at Vapronix web pvt ltd, he was offered a permanent job at the same firm for the position of a graphic designer.

Sitam proved yet again, nothing can stop you but you, if you believe you are destined to win you will!

Boxes in The Court Yard

Children draw to express what they are feeling and thinking. It is an important outlet for children.. What the child draws on paper does not just reflect their emotions, but their vision and ability to handle the beautiful of gift of life. Their drawings are the true and honest reports of their transformation.

This transformation was not only nurtured but also beautifully captured by 19 children at Udayan Care in their workshops in August with Art Reach India, at our Greater Noida Centre. The young artists got exposure visits to The British School, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, and Indian Art Fair etc giving them some perspective on various art forms they learned through the workshops.

The workshop culminated in art pieces produced by the children being displayed in a special exhibition called “Boxes in The Court Yard” at the very renowned Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), Saket, New Delhi from the 6th May - 6th June 2017. A few art pieces found immediate customers, encouraging the young artists. The work produced by the children received much appreciation and applaud from visitors to the museum and media alike.

No Hurdle is too High!

In the small town of Haridwar, a family of 6 and family income of a meagre amount of 4000/- Najma is determined to make it through. Sincerity hardwork and her passion to succeed are her biggest assets. As is rightly said “Where there is a will, there is a way”, Najma enrolled herself in the Udayan Shalini Fellowship. Regular counselling, workshops, mentoring sessions and monetary support helped her encounter and overcome her inhibitions and self-doubt.

Her dedication has helped her add many feathers to her cap in form of awards and accolades. From being recognized as a “Brilliant Student” in Hindi for scoring 99 in Hindi in her 10th Board Exams, she proved she is an all-rounder by receiving the title of “Bal Vaigyanik” at the National Bal Vigyan Congress Quiz. Many other awards are there in her kitty from participations in Science Exhibitions, Essay Competitions etc.
