About the centre	Programme offered and Placements
Supporting youth and girls of underserved communities with digital literacy and skilling courses, helps them enhance their employability skills. Moving ahead on this path, we started 2nd Udayan Care Computer Learning Centre at East Vinod Nagar, Delhi, to offer vocational and digital literacy courses. Our first IT centre was established in Greater Noida. East Vinod Nagar IT Centre was inaugurated in February 2006, with the support of Microsoft, under the 'Unlimited Potential Programme' or 'Project JYOTI'. After conducting a socio-economic survey and assessing the need of the local community for digital literacy, the Centre was opened in a one room set taken on rent. Thereafter, the Centre shifted to a more spacious place (2000 Sq. Feet) on the main road.	East Vinod Nagar Centre offers CTSP (Community Technology Skills Programme), which is a basic course in digital literacy, along with some other job-oriented course like Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), Tally PRO and DCA (Diploma in Computer Application). Personality development and life skill trainings are also a part of the curriculum, to help students become job-ready. Training and career counselling through our placement cell also helps students find entry-level jobs, thus, improving the standard of living of their families.

Impact of the project

Since the inception of the project, we have inducted 2702 underserved community beneficiaries in various IT courses. More than 70% of the students who complete their training in job specific courses, start working in relevant fields with good entry level salary/stipend.
