Programme offered and Placements

Udayan Care Computer learning Centre, Narsinghpur Village (Gurugram) - Based on Udayan Care’s mission to provide every adult the dignity of self-reliance, Udayan Care Computer Learning Centre in Narsinghpur Village (Gurugram) was initiated in 2006 with the support of Sat Krishna Charitable Trust, to enable underserved youth and adults to increase their livelihood earning options, by providing them Digital Literacy and Vocational trainings.

Shri Ashok Kapur of Krishna Maruti Limited, had established Sat Krishna Charitable Trust in 2000 in the loving memory of his mother. Sat Krishna works for providing free of cost health services to village people in Narsinghpur. Udayan Care partnered with Sat Krishna Trust for establishing an IT Centre in Narsinghpur tor imparting digital literacy training to children and youth from Narsinghpur and other nearby areas.. With IT training, career counselling and our placement assistance, our students start with decent jobs, increasing their family incomes by at least 30-40%.

 

Our centre offers Community Technology Skills Programme (CTSP), Tally ERP9, Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), Diploma in Computer Application (DCA), Advance Diploma in Computer Application (ADCA). Personality development & life skills training is also a part of the curriculum to make students job-ready.

Impact of the project

Since the inception of the project, we have inducted 2888 underserved community youth in job-specific & digital literacy courses. Out of these 70% of the students, who complete their training in job-specific courses, start working in relevant field with good entry-level salary
